Nov. 3 10:43 AM PT11:43 AM MT12:43 PM CT1:43 PM ET6:43 PM GMT2:43 AM 北京时间-The Minnesota Twins moved Buscher off their 40-man roster on Tuesday and assigned him to Triple-A Rochester. He will become a minor league free agent 16 days after the end of the World Series.
Analysis: Over parts of three seasons, Buscher batted .266 in 436 at-bats with eight home runs and 69 RBIs while going back and forth between the Rochester club and the Twins. With Joe Crede becoming a free agent this fall following an injury-plagued year, third base is again unsettled for the Twins. Matt Tolbert and Brendan Harris were the primary options at that position down the stretch while Crede was hurt, and Buscher rarely played. He hit .235 in 136 at-bats this year.
Sep. 1 2:33 PM PT3:33 PM MT4:33 PM CT5:33 PM ET10:33 PM GMT6:33 AM 北京时间-The Twins recalled Buscher from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday and sent cash to Arizona to complete a trade for reliever Jon Rauch.
Analysis: Buscher hit .227 with two homers and 11 RBIs in 52 games for the Twins earlier this season. He served primarily as the backup to Joe Crede at third base. Buscher was sent down Aug. 1. He will provide some depth after Crede was placed on the disabled list with a back injury last week.
Aug. 1 12:45 PM PT1:45 PM MT2:45 PM CT3:45 PM ET8:45 PM GMT4:45 AM 北京时间-To make room for new shortstop Orlando Cabrera, the Twins optioned Buscher to Triple-A Rochester on Saturday. Minnesota acquired Cabrera from Oakland on Friday to shore up their middle infield and add a better hitter in the No. 2 spot in the batting order.
Analysis: Buscher hit .227 with two home runs and 11 RBIs in 53 games for the Twins as a backup third baseman and first baseman.
Jun. 19 12:09 PM PT1:09 PM MT2:09 PM CT3:09 PM ET8:09 PM GMT4:09 AM 北京时间-Buscher hit a two-run homer in the Twins' 5-1 win over the Pirates on Thursday.
Analysis: Buscher, batting .198 in 35 games this season, hadn't driven in a run since collecting two RBIs in a loss to the Yankees on May 16. He has nine RBIs in 81 at-bats this year after finishing with 47 in 218 at-bats in 2008.
